Christopher Malone

Syracuse New York

It may seem a bit impossible to walk with your feet on the ground and still keep your head above the clouds--yes, above (if your head is in the clouds you can't really see where you're headed)--but it's not. When it comes to writing, improvising, and communicating amongst many other facets of life, the importance of keeping an open mind and taking life as it unfolds in front of you cannot be stressed enough.

Christopher is a qualified individual with extensive communication experience. He has strong writing capabilities, and is currently writing for two blogs--one personal, one business. His marketing experience is emphasized with his social media familiarity, noting the internet's proper use can be utilized to build any business. He is currently looking for a position in the marketing and communications realm that emphasizes public relations, social media, and writing.

After college, graduating with an English degree, Chris has experienced and accumulated a thorough communication and business background. Travelling to England, China, Italy, and Ireland has left him craving the desire to explore our planet even more comprehensively abroad and within the states.

Christopher began his communication experience in 1999, when he started working for the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology, a part-time job he had kept for 10 years; he still volunteers for special events when needed. Chris has generated business experience while working at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center's finance department, and he has extensive constituent and community relation experience from his time working for New York State Senator John DeFrancisco. Currently, Christopher is writing part time as a creative blogger and marketing associate for Kinani Blue, and contributes as marketing coordinator for the Syracuse Improv Collective.

Christopher writes two personal blogs: The Infinite Abyss(es), which is a nonfiction blog to chronicle life in Central New York, and Sporadic Attic, which is a fiction blog. The links can be found below.

Christopher had been a contributing writer for Project Rock City, an Upstate New York website which highlights the on-goings in and around Syracuse, and NoExcuses, which is a comprehensive Syracuse-based tourism company. Chris has recently written the biography for an up-and-coming actress, and he been published in Filò, a quarterly magazine for Tyrolean Americans.
