Chris Stammel currently serves as a real estate agent with Citi Habitats in New York City. At Citi Habitats, Mr. Stammel functions as part of a team which focuses on a modern understanding of where and how their clients want to live. With a first-hand knowledge of New York City’s boroughs, neighborhoods, nightlife, and culture, Mr. Stammel brings personalized, one-on-one service to each of his clients, always pursuing the goal of finding the apartment, condominium, townhouse, or investment property that meets the client’s individual needs. Chris Stammel offers a wide variety of real estate services in his current position, including handling pre-listing photography, showing units, coordinating applications and documents, communicating with management companies, and following up with clients.
Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Christopher Stammel worked as a teacher for the New York City Department of Education. While participating in the highly regarded NYC Teaching Fellows program, Mr. Stammel worked with other talented recent graduates to raise student achievement in underperforming New York City classrooms. Chris Stammel spent five years as a teacher in the New York City school system before embarking on his career in real estate in 2012.
A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Science, Christopher Stammel pursued a Master’s degree in Education at the City College of New York while participating in the NYC Teaching Fellows program.
An avid New York Knicks fan, Christopher Stammel also enjoys music, staying physically fit, and reading a good book. In addition, he gives back to the community through his work with the group New York Cares.
