He served as Vice President of the Arizona Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where he currently sits on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. His other professional alliances include the Immigration Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona and the San Diego chapter of AILA. Christopher Stender earned his Juris Doctor in 1990 from the Syracuse University College of Law. During his undergraduate years, he spent his junior year abroad, studying at the University of Würzburg in Germany. In 1987, he received a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.
