Accomplished entrepreneur Christy Ferer serves as Chief Executive Officer of Vidicom, Inc., a media services company that provides multimedia advertising for a wide range of brands. The high-profile clients she has served throughout Vidicom's operational history include Disney, Ralph Lauren, L'Oreal, and Johnson & Johnson. Christy Ferer founded Vidicom in 1982 and went on to develop its reputation in the media industry as the first company to videotape fashion shows.

Christy Ferer draws on several media strategies to connect brands with customers through Vidicom, including the television channel InteracTV and the online lifestyle platform VideoPump.com, as well as broadcasts through Citybuzz, a Vidicom subsidiary. Ms. Ferer developed Citybuzz into a destination media channel that reaches more than 12 million monthly viewers in a number of travel-specific situations, including hotel stays, cab rides, and airplane flights.

Before founding Vidicom and Citybuzz, Christy Ferer led a career as a political and lifestyle news reporter. She entered the broadcasting field as the first female news reporter in St. Louis, Missouri, and the first female anchor at the local NBC affiliate. She later relocated to New York, where she accepted a role as a political reporter and anchor at WPIX-TV. Additional responsibilities she held there included contributions as a lifestyle correspondent with NBC’s Today, ABC’s Good Morning America, and the CBS Early Show. Ms. Ferer holds a graduate degree in Urban Affairs from Boston University.
