My name is Christy and I am a recovered people pleaser!

I spent years of my life trying to please others in an effort to gain approval, validation and self-worth. Morphing, shrinking, and anticipating the judgement of others, in hopes of avoiding the heaping shame of rejection and impending guilt of not fitting in had become a normal practice in my life. I desperately wanted to belong, accepted, and acknowledged.

One day I looked in the mirror and realized that I knew nothing about the woman looking back at me. I had only known the pieces of her that were vocalized and projected by others. It was in that moment that made the shift . . . to discover who God created me to be and LIVE from that place!

I began my journey . . .

It has taken me more than 2 decades to develop the courage to be authentically ME without shrinking! What freedom to finally KNOW and BELIEVE in my power and purpose!

I CHOOSE JOY everyday, and have the privilege of elevating the expectations of others simply by believing in their "personal amazing!"
