Christy Matte is a Boston-area freelance writer, consultant and speaker, as well as the work-at-home mom of two preschoolers. She has an undergraduate background in anthropology and computer science and a M.Ed. with a focus on technology in education. An avid techie, Christy has been blogging since 2001 and currently maintains a blog at Quirky Fusion. In 2010, she co-founded Boston Parent Bloggers, a social and networking group for bloggers in New England. She’s also a mobile app and video game reviewer at Common Sense Media and the Family Tech Expert at About.com. She enjoys public speaking and has presented at events as far as China and New Zealand, including BlogHer, Blogalicious, Blissdom, CES and Engage Expo.
When not writing, Christy is likely to be reading, watching bad reality TV and playing video games. She enjoys connecting through social media and can be found on Twitter and LinkedIn.
