I am an experienced engineer and researcher with more than 20 years of combined experience in the construction industry and academia. I have international experience working in the USA, Europe and Asia and was involved in various projects with total value exceeding 20 billion US dollars, including airports, building development projects, amusement parks, tunnels, bridges, highways, industrial plants, power plants and lifeline systems.

My areas of expertise include construction project management, risk analysis and management, project coordination and control, contract management, claims / disputes avoidance and management, construction site management, structural analysis and design, computer aided design and computer programming.

As a researcher, I conducted academic research in probabilistic risk analysis of natural and man-made disasters, machine learning and complex social network analysis of open collaboration.

I am a registered professional civil engineer in Cyprus, associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and Japan Society of Civil Engineers. Passionate about technology and computers, I like photography, having stimulating discussions while enjoying good wine with friends (the original meaning of "symposium") and tinkering with computers and electronics.
