Chronically Boned

Hello and welcome to Chronically Boned. I'm the guy behind the curtain.

I live with a whole overlapping shitstorm of disabilities: multiple leg and brain surgeries and mobility issues (I use a cane, not a wheelchair... yet), epilepsy with its lovely auras, absences and on occasion full-on fall-down tonic-clonic seizures, hydrocephalus that's had me under the knife more times than I can count (55 before I stopped keeping track), chronic earth-shattering migraines, bouts of expressive aphasia where my brain just refuses to give me the fucking words, and the depression that loves to pile on.

This isn't inspiration porn. I'm not here to make you feel good about "the human spirit" or whatever. I'm here to show the messy fucking reality — the days where everything hits at once, the dark humour I use to survive it, the small wins that feel huge, and the parts that just plain suck.
