This year it's 20 years since I first took the train between Beijing and Shanghai, and since then I have traveled all over China, and still do. I travel on my own, I travel with my kids and husband and I travel with Norwegian tourists, that I take around to see the wonders of China. Personally, I prefer the back streets, the food stalls, the local vegetable markets and neighborhood stores.

When I don't travel in China , I write. Copy writing during the day, sometimes for my blog, mostly at my new book on how to travel to China with kids.
