Chase Martinez

Currently stowed away in the small, quaint city of Toronto, I am currently a second year Creative Industries student whilst working as a Policy & Programs Assistant for the Ministry of Transportation and a Style Specialist for fashion boutique Aritzia.

I have previously collaborated with the Ministry of Transportation prior to my employment during a creative impact course. My team designed a quiz game app that would digitalize the G1 driver's test while also closing the cultural gap that is often an issue with Toronto being a multicultural city. Following a successful demo to the executive team, I have since been working closely with the deputy officer of the Ministry to work towards integrating this app into future plans.

With a passion for media and social issues, the combination heavily influences my work. Much of my creative work since high school has focused on intertwining the two interests and bringing spotlight on issues that matter deeply to me. I hope to continue working in the media field with the belief that people's stories are meant to be heard and hope to give those stories a voice.

I am an ambitious, passionate, and enthusiastic 20 year old with a desire to continuously improve my skill set. I hope garner valuable connections that will help me in developing my skills within the creative industries and reach my full potential.
