Chua Tee Lian
Family Physician in Singapore
An alumnus of the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, Chua Tee Lian obtained a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from the school in 1989 and subsequently began working as a house officer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He also worked in its Department of Surgery and Department of Medicine before joining Singapore General Hospital. Dr. Chua Tee Lian also worked in the Department of Accident & Emergency at Changi Hospital and served for one year as Community Health Services medical officer with the Singapore Ministry of Health.
Dr. Chua Tee Lian joined HMI Balestier Hospital Pte, Ltd., in 1993 and served nine years as its resident medical officer. He has spent the past two decades working in a clinic setting at Liang Clinic, Frankel Clinic, and C & K Family Clinic. As a general practice family physician, he provides a range of healthcare services from health screenings and vaccinations to minor surgical procedures.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Tee Lian has published research in the International Journal of Colorectal Disease. He is certified by the Singapore Ministry of Health's Family Physician Accreditation Board.
