I am a Brooklyn Based researcher and media artist with a B.A. in Sociology and Urban Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. in Media Art from Emerson College.
I spent nearly twenty years working in the non-profit sector including time as an Americorps volunteer, a legislative aide for a State Representative, a teacher, and a community organizer. I was a founding member of Make Shift Boston, co-working art event space located in Boston's historic South End district and my ongoing video performance work, LOOSE, has been featured at the Brooklyn Museum, The IFC Center, MIT, The Design Studio for Social Intervention, Harvard University, The Charles Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Science, and more.
I am also a co-founder of the music production and art collective, KUNQ . KUNQ artists have taught and performed original work at such institutions and events as MoMA PS1, The New Museum, Boiler Room TV, The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Venice Biennale, and the Frieze Art Fair in London.
In my free time I work in public health, currently providing macro-level technical assistance regarding transgender health access at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. In the fall of 2018, I joined the student body at Parsons School of Design to complete a Masters of Science in Data Visualization.
