Chucc 1’s music influences began playing the trumpet in elementary, performing in school concerts and church events. He began planting his Samoan roots in the R&B/Urban music genre by establishing his record label in 2007. His music has received attention from top radio stations in top markets such as KMEL, KUUU, KPOO, KHSU, KALX, KDAY, WVUV, KMLE, KCRH, NIU FM, KZSC and countless web stations being added weekly. Also adding to his artistic resume openning for national acts such as PIT BULL, E-40, JERIMIH, TRINA, CURRENCY, DEVIN THE DUDE to CLYDE CARSON in various cities as Reno Nv, Chico, Fresno, Salinas, San Francisco, Modesto Ca and Salt Lake City Utah to name a few.
His R&B finesse and articulate bold word play has found it's way to the ears of commercial radio Djs. Chucc 1’s music has become a source of insight into the urban life of Polynesians in America. In 2010, his music caught attention of Top 40 station (KBMB) now KHHM with his single “Attraction,” which debuted on prime time radio and was later added to specialty shows and college stations. He followed up with his hit single “She Want It,” gaining a bigger audience than his previous single. Chucc 1 is currently working on new music with various production teams and charted producers.
