Carlos González
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
Being a guy passionate about all things software, Carlos started programming and tinkering with integrated circuits at age 13.
In 2010 he joined Newtech, a software firm in the Dominican Republic, as a software engineer. During his time at Newtech, he worked with clients such as Verizon Business and Verizon Wireless developing mission critical systems, as well as interacting with a multi-cultural team of talented developers located in the United States, Argentina, The Netherlands, Perú and India.
He currently serves as CTO of Jellyhub, a software company he co-founded with a long-time friend and business partner.
Carlos holds an A.S. in Electronics from Instituto Politécnico Loyola, and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Systems Engineering at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo.
He's a music nerd, and is enthusiastic about films and graphic novels.
