Chuck Cain
Chuck Cain is a Partner with the Firm and heads the Consumer
& Business Services Practice, the Non-Profit Practice and HGI Sports (the Sports Management Practice). He is also one of the key leaders within Harvard Group's industry-leading Diversity Practice. More recently, Chuck's extensive network has enabled him to expand his experience to include deal generation and capital raises for Corporate, Private Equity and Venture Capital interests across various disciplines and sizes.
Chuck's personal executive search practice includes work in a wide range of industries, including: Financial Services, Private Equity/Venture Capital, Aerospace, Energy, Oil & Gas, Insurance, Consumer Products, Printing, Non-Profit, Professional Sports Management, Media/Entertainment, and General Manufacturing. Chuck's clients have ranged from start-ups to the Fortune 100, with revenues $2 Million to over $80 Billion.
Chuck has over 18 years of professional experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Recruiting, Operations, and General Management at many levels. Prior to joining Harvard Group International, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a medical services company with responsibility for all business operations, sales, marketing, and hiring functions. Chuck also has over seven years experience in the printing industry as a Director of Sales & Marketing and as an Account Manager, working in rotogravure and large format digital areas in print production and equipment/consumable sales. Additionally, he spent a number of years in management consulting, responsible for business development and project management. His work has taken him around the globe, with projects across the U.S., Japan and throughout Europe, working with companies ranging from 4 to over 30,000 people.
Chuck holds a MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University. He also received dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Multinational Marketing & Management from the Wharton School and in Systems Engineering from School of Engineering and Applied Science from the Management & Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
PERSONAL: Chuck resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Erica, and kids, Ryan and Allison. He enjoys playing ice hockey and golf; cooking; SCUBA diving; and travel.
