Chuck Fishman
Chuck manages Cisco relationships with media and entertainment partners, reporting to the Senior Director of Media and Entertainment Partnerships at the Cisco Media Solutions Group. His work at Cisco includes keeping tabs on the digital entertainment landscape to inform strategic decisions in the Cisco Media Solutions Group (CMSG). CMSG manages a SaaS platform for media and entertainment companies, Cisco Eos(tm), to launch unique branded and social entertainment experiences. Chuck project manages both Cisco Eos and other Cisco digital media initiatives, media and entertainment analysis delivered in internal communications, and some external communications (via Cisco Media blog - http://blogs.cisco.com/media). As part of his work at Cisco, Chuck participates in several tech media oriented consortiums and committees including DECE, the IAB Digital Video Committee, the IAB UGC and Social Networking Committee, and the Entertainment and Technology Center at USC. Chuck also manages the CMSG Graduate Intern program and recruits digital media MBA talent from USC Marshall and UCLA Anderson. Chuck has broad media and entertainment experience - from 1997 to 2007, he created and produced new radio ventures for Clear Channel, Bloomberg, CNET Networks and the Wall Street Journal. Chuck was the first ever producer of both The Wall Street Journal This Morning radio show, and the Morning Show with Brian Cooley on CNET Radio, joining both programs at their creation point. Chuck holds a B.A. in Geography / Cartography from the University of Colorado and practiced in the GIS / digital mapping space before he started his passionate media and technology career. Chuck is also an independent musician who performs and records with the funk band George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars
