Chuckie Dreyfus

Chuckie Dreyfus is a Philippine movie actor whose movie-acting career started in 1984 with the movie, "Idol", in which he played the sidekick of Philippine action star, Rudy Fernandez.

Chuckie learned musical arranging by himself in between movie & TV projects and started arranging medleys for "GMA Supershow" & "That's Entertainment". This innate talent was further honed when he began to concentrate on his own musical compositions.

Apart from this, Chuckie is a member of FILSCAP, a member of the Judging & Screening Committee for the "Awit Awards". Chuckie also produced the theme song of ABS-CBN's teen show "SCQ Reload" entitled "Kilig Ako" - a song which he also composed and was performed by Sarah Geronimo.

Chuckie is also the composer of Rachelle Ann Go's certified hit song entitled, "Bakit", included in her album, "I Care", under Viva Records. "Bakit", also became the the theme song of ABS-CBN's evening telenovela, "Mirada de Mujer".

He is the Musical Director of television shows such as "SCQ Reload" (ABS-CBN), "Pinoy Big Brother (Primers)" (ABS-CBN), "Blind Item" (ABC-5), "Your Song" (ABS-CBN) and more.

He is also the Musical Director of such movies as "Masikip Sa Dibdib" (Viva Films), "D' Anothers" (Star Cinema), "Binibining K" (Regal Films), and "Agent X44″ (Star Cinema).

He also composed 2 songs ("Miss" & "Kahit Na") included in Sarah Geronimo's album entitled, "Taking Flight" under Viva Records. He's also the songwriter of Sarah's carrier single, "Laging Kay Ganda" for her MyPhone album.

After 15 years of being away from the limelight, Chuckie has finally made a serious comeback – joining GMA-7′s hit reality show, "Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown" as a castaway which aired from 2011 - 2012.

Chuckie currently appears on GMA-7's Afternoon Prime telenovela entitled, "Magdalena", which airs weekdays at 4:30PM.
