Chuck von Beck

Marietta, GA

Chuck von Beck earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Arizona State University. After graduating, he served the US Air Force as a Gas Turbine Technician. In this capacity, he repaired engines and trained other specialists.

Following this, Charles went on to work at Honeywell Aerospace in Arizona as a Customer Service Engineer, creating and enacting product improvement program proposals for customers. He quickly earned a reputation as a consumate professional skilled a keeping calm during high-pressure situations, and eventually became a project engineer. In this position, Chuck led a team of integrated specialists to develop a $50,000 government proposal effort. Thanks to the hard work of everyone involved, under Chuck's guidance, the proposal led to a $4,000,000 two-year technology project with an expected $20,000,000 in recurring sales.

Von Beck now works for GE. In his role as engineer manager, Chuck oversees a group of over 40 mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers as they develop GE control systems and meters.

Chuck's peers know him as a determined worker, a unique thinker, and a admirable leader with myriad marketing and managerial skills.
