Founded and successfully built a manufacturing company with sales reaching $30 million competing against major brands and sold the business to a national consolidator at a significant profit.
Entrepreneurial experience spans the development and design of multiple unique product lines and product patents. Expertise includes marketing, merchandising and brand development with vendors and major customers like Bloomingdale's, Jordan's Furniture and Raymour & Flanigan where highlights include the successfully negotiated sale of the company’s QVC private label brand in 2007 and the sale of the company in July 2010.
Committed to developing the next generation of leaders and organizations. Currently Executive Director at Playworks, active in YPO/WPO, member of NACD, certified mentor for SCORE and small business owners (ASBA). Committed to culture and community, served on the Special Olympics Development board, ADL development board and takes time to coach special needs kids.
Grew up in upstate NY and Boston. Presently living in Scottsdale AZ with his wife Shari. Daughter Ally lives in Phoenix AZ and works at Facilitec and daughter Liza lives in Phoenix AZ and works for American Express. Interests include tennis, P90X, watching NFL football, coaching special needs athletes and a great dinner out with family and friends.
