Chukwuemeka U. Orukwowu is a Finance Executive, Digital Strategy & Development Consultant on a mission to shape Global Finance & International Development Policy narratives; Graduated with Bachelor's degree in Finance & Banking from University of Port-Harcourt.
Chukwuemeka is an Associate member of the Institute of Enterprise Management & Analytics (IEMA) and has completed dynamic trainings in Digital Communications at Tower of Safety International. He assists Startup & SMEs in improving business profitability, through disruptive innovation and enterprise risk management. Also, Chukwuemeka coauthored the Personal Branding Secrets Book, and he served as Campus Ambassador, United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC in 2017.
Chukwuemeka Orukwowu joined the Global Shapers Community– an initiative of the World Economic Forum in 2018. Inspired to “Improve the state of the World”, he leads impact solutions towards the realization of GSC core mandate: driving action, dialogue and change. Currently, he serves as Impact Officer of the GSC Port-Harcourt Hub, where he manages impact assessment projects, strategic trainings & capacity-building programs, as well as Hub external relations.
In 2018, he was selected as Fellow, CANVASSITY Pan-Africa Youth Democracy Fellowship - a high-level learning program funded by National Endowment for Democracy (NED) United States, and hosted by Youngstars Foundation, Abuja. Afterwards, he received an invitation to a learning visit at African Union HQ in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where Chukwuemeka attended African Governance Architecture (AGA) consultative policy meetings & engaged top officials of the AU, Nigerian Embassy, IPSS & Addis Ababa University, to mention a few. He shares strategic ideas on The Audacious Agenda blog for young professionals, social workers & futurists.
Furthermore, Chukwuemeka champions sustainability projects on peace & conflict resolution by engaging nonprofits & government institutions in implementing the UNSCR on Youth, Peace & Security related matters; Dogged advocate of AU Agenda 2063 & UN SDGs, he has spent the past 5 years pioneering high-impact projects, which include: innovative entrepreneurial programs, student debates on institutional reforms, grassroots stakeholders’ engagements & public sector accountability campaigns. He believes that governance in Africa can be improved through increased youth participation. The best of Chukwuemeka is yet to come!
