I edit subtitles, theses, books, etc. I'm native English, but I know Italian, Japanese, and Ancient Greek, so I'm well placed to help foreigners with their English.

I have a very high level of literary education and a consequently very high level of literacy.

The bottom line with this is that no matter how good your English is, you will still make mistakes if you are not a native speaker. Some of the work I've done is with people who have lived in the UK for years and have superb English, but they still make mistakes.
