I run the global Financial Sponsors research operations at Dealogic, after a 7-year stint as an M&A researcher.
Previously I was a TV news reporter and photographer, a teaching assistant for graduate level electronic news production classes, and a part-time police dispatcher.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I spent seven years in Massachusetts, Missouri and North Carolina before returning to my hometown in early 2007. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as conversational French, German and Italian. I'm into languages, typhoons, indie rock, Unicode, Ubuntu, backpack travel and roadtrips, have an inexplicable love for Taiwan, and touch-type on the Dvorak keyboard.
