I sowed a seed when I was seven and an apple tree grew. At that moment the seed of my destiny was also sown. Later I went to college at the National Botanic Gardens and became a horticulturist. Now I share my love of horticulture and gardening through teaching with The Garden School and The New Growth Project, a charity initiative to provide free horticulture courses for unemployed., based in Marlay Park near Rathfarnham in Dublin. I write about gardening, The Irish Garden, and I am also a keen photographer and have done a number of projects and some exhibitions:www.oneTree365.comwww.earthtouchproject.comAnd my latest project is taking street photographs of Dublin city- www.dublinpics.ie
