Ciaran Redmond

In September 2012. I quit my job, sold most of my possesions on craigslist and leaped head first into my childhood dream of backpacking around the world. Having never traveled outside of the US I suddenly found myself on a one way flight to my first destination; Kathmandu, Nepal! The rest is history!

Fast forward to present times: after nearly a year of continuous travel under my belt I began to write about my trials and tribulations as a digital nomad and within only a few months I managed to gain an online following that numbered into the thousands (Which totally shocked me!)

I think it's safe to say I have a burning passion for adventure, freedom, and travel; I am a self-proclaimed language and culture junkie and a definite "foodie" with an unhealthy obsession for all things social media and digital marketing!

You can follow my misadventures as I trek all around this crazy world, while simultaneously making an income solely from my laptop and usually a very slow wifi connection in some far off guesthouse!
