Ciaron Murphy

From a very young age I have been insterested in music, before I finished sceondary school this involved playing a variety of musical instruments. When I progressed to college I studied music technology as I had become interested in the recording side of music, whilst studying this course I also learned a little about acoustics, which really got my attention.

After finishing college I decided to go into full time work and ended up working in retail at a supervisory level. It was only when I was offered the role of store manage that I had to take a good look at my life. I realized I wanted to do more than just manage in retail and therefore went back into education. After completing a year long course at Trafford College, I am now studying the subject for which I had formed a passion years before, acoustics.

After completing two years of this course I have refined my goals and realized that I would like to work in the environmental noise or architectural acoustics fields. However I am open to new things and will therefore be willing to apply myself to any scenario with the same vigour that I apply to my passions.
