We don’t live on mini-farms or communes in upstate New York or in Ecco-Villages. We live in the city.

We have small patches of land. We have some dirt in pots.
We are about Permaculture Design in an urban backyard - about growing a salad on your apartment balcony. We are about harvesting the water we all waste waiting for it to get warm so we can shower. We are about composting on the roof ; vermiculture in the closet; starting veggie seeds on the kitchen table. We are about intensive gardening and biomass.

We are about reducing the negative multipliers that are killing our world and our people – see our Multiplier Manifesto for more information. We are about seed bombing vacant lots, city street planters, highway medians – anywhere there is wasted land.

We are radical urban gardeners, and we want a million people to join us.
