CieraMae Edwards

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio in the hot summer of 1990 on the 22nd day of August, in the rough neighboorhood of Lincoln Heights. The same neighboorhood The Isley Brothers and Nikki Giovanni were raised in, different time era of course. I was the only girl and middle child of four wild and rough brothers and raised by my mother and i must add this combination wasn't near easy at all. Like most kids in my neighboor i grew up without a father, he was and still is incarcerated like most. As a young girl my mother always tried to keep me busy with cheerleading, basketball and double dutch. I guess it was her way of keeping us out of trouble and off the streets. Even though that was her goal it was then as a young girl my love for books, poetry and writing. Which are the very things I cant see myself living without now.

Later on down the line while i was in high school we moved out of "the hood" into a nice area where gun shots wasn't the norm. I spent my high school career at Princeton High School one of the most diverse and rated Excellent school in Cincinnati. I stayed active in high school with dance team, wrestlerette, double dutch and always voluteering after school in the art department. I was reserved and to myself but trouble followed me everywhere from boys to jealous girls which is the norm in most high schools. I then gratuated in 2008 thinking i was ready to take on the world.

I then left and spent a year at Wright State University and did terrible but had a heck of a time learning about myself. I eventually left and came back home to Cincinnati State Techneical and Community College where i still mangae to struggle till this very day. Im at a stage in life now where the only thing i wanna do is follow my dreams of writing, publishing books, giving interviews for magazine and become an awsome writer.
