I named myself Cinderella, which hints an idealistic inclination in my personality. My hometown is Changsha City of Hunan Province of China, and I spent the first 18 years of my life there, experiencing a rather happy childhood and a somewhat sentimental adolescence.

After that, I went to the Chinese University of Hong Kong for further study. Originally, I majored in Business, however, when choosing the major at the very beginning, I did not own a deep understanding of myself and was influenced too much by my parents. As a result, I lacked a real enthusiasm in studying business though I can handle it. On the contrary, I spent much time reading news and news commentary on the internet and I devoted myself to thinking about current affairs. By doing this, various phenomena as well as opinions not only arouse my eager curiosity but also broaden my horizon. More importantly, it makes feel that I am linked to the whole world so I am responsible for the development of society. Therefore, I made the decision of transferring to journalism and communication major a year later. And until now I still believe that being a journalist is the ideal way to live my life and explore the world.
