Ever since I was a small child, I've had a love for people and animals. I believe this love comes from the same love God has shown me throughout my life. As a Christian, my purpose in life is to love others and above all else, love God.

I show this love by caring for those around me. I want to be a school counselor so I can work with children and help them through any problems they have at school or at home. I’ve always enjoyed being someone my friends could come to when they needed advice or someone to just talk to. I hope the students will feel the same. Hopefully they won’t see me as someone creepy and old.

I also show my love by caring for animals. I recently adopted two sweet, little kittens who had been abandoned. They now go by the names of Romeo and Juliet. I knew from the moment I took them in that it was part of God’s plan. They have already brought me so much joy and laughter. I’m hoping by taking them in I will be giving them a home full of love and cuddles. I can no longer imagine my life without these kitties after only a few days of getting to know them. They have helped me to learn more about myself than I ever thought I could.
