Cinderella Abdel Hameed

I am a drama author and writer, however writing theatre plays is my prime focus particularly for children and I believe I have an effective productive role in this dimension. I have to admit that my passion is my family.
I joined the Egyptian Academy of Art when I was 8 and I have chosen to be a Pianist in the conservatoire since that early age till I reached 18. When I finished my high school I switched career and joined the Theatre Academy to gain a bachelor of Drama and Critic on in 2000.

Since that date I wrote in several magazines and newspapers in Egypt specialized in drama subjects. Most of my writings revolve round dram, theatre critic, translator for English articles into Arabic. Frequently I edited and organized Drama lines and music for plays in Egypt. Most of my own plays never saw the light till I moved with my family to UAE where most of my writing were published and played on stage particularly in 2011.

My efforts In Azza Hilal Association triggered mainly from my believe that I have to have an effective role in developing my home country’s society and community. Women’s right is a field I always dreamt to work for and towards to gain the rights of women and empower them in building their own country the same way men can do if not better.
