An entrepreneur, venture strategist and an arts lover, Cindy's current projects include Producer of the full-feature length independent film The Adventures of Paul and Marian, leading the funding strategy team for the PS199 Science Center in partnership with the Greenhouse Project, and acting Ambassador for the NGO Global Fund for Widows, a non-profit organization that provides microfinance funding for widows in Egypt, Dominican Republic, India, West Africa, and Bolivia. She received the distinct honor to attend NASA Social at JAXA/NASA GPM social at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA Dryden in Edwards Air Force Base & Kennedy Space Center to work with the award-winning NASA Social Media team during the shuttle's last flight on top of a 747 airplane and the end to NASA’s 35-year Space Shuttle Program. In September 2013, she received an invitation by CERN to attend the CERN Tweetup and visit the onsite experiments underground including the Large Hadron Collider where Higgs boson was discovered, the ATLAS Experiment, ALICE, and many others. Past projects included a feature in The London Symphony Orchestra's 2012-13 New Season Film campaign, and Strategic Alliances, Social Media and Outreach for The Washed Ashore Project Global Launch Team & Tour. The tour launched at The America's Cup World Series in San Diego, CA. Ms. Chin is a former consultant for several leading international management consulting firms including McKinsey & Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and publicly-traded asset management firm Strategic Hotels & Resorts (BEE:US). She has over 15 years of work experience specializing in corporate strategy with senior executives at the board level of Fortune 500 companies to the prestigious ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation in the Presidio of San Francisco. She has consulted for companies in a variety of industries ranging from Charles Schwab (finance/marketing), Ortho Diagnostics and Cordis, subsidiaries of Johnson & Johnson (healthcare/pharmaceuticals), Gilt Groupe (retail fashion/e-commerce) to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. She is a sought-after speaker on global entrepreneurship, crowdfunding, gender parity on women on boards, startups, and trends in the aerospace industry. Her passion is building business from the ground upward, outreach and innovation.
