Way back when, I won an acting scholarship to the Teenage Drama Workshop in
Los Angeles and I've made my living in show business ever since.

With my husband and writing-partner, Flip Kobler, I spent many years at Disney writing the sequels to LION KING, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, POCOHONTAS, LADY AND THE TRAMP, HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME and many, many others. We have plays published with Samuel French, Dramatic Publishing, Contemporary Drama and Pioneer Publishing.

In 2009, my first book as a solo artist, entitled PLAYDATE - A PARENT AND TEACHERS GUIDE TO PUTTING ON A PLAY, was published by Meriwether Publishing Ltd. In 2011, my second book, THE ULTIMATE YOUNG ACTORS GUIDE, was released. Both are available wherever books are sold.

I am also the front man for Showdown Stage Company, sharing my unique experience in Hollywood and passion for theater with a new generation of teens.

As an in-demand acting coach, I've helped craft young actors; as a mentor, I love supporting young souls. As a writer, I continue to have plays published and screenplays sold, but working with teens is my true calling.
