Cindy O. Okosun is a dynamic and accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience spanning healthcare, telecommunications, information technology, aviation, and education.
She is the Director of PEC PM Experts Inc., a leading project management education consultancy based in Canada, and the founder of STEMPorte, an educational technology firm dedicated to advancing STEAM initiatives locally and internationally. She also founded Cindy Oaks School in Nigeria.
Currently, Cindy is a Senior IT professional,leading the execution of mission-critical programs and projects at a renowned organization in Canada. She taught for 3 years at the School of Business, Conestoga College.
Cindy has held leadership roles, including Director of the School Empowerment Support Network (SESN) and Communications Director on the board of Nigerians in the Region of Waterloo (NIROW). She also serves on the Board and Governance Committee of Rising Oaks Learning Ontario, Support Black Charities, Cambridge Federal Liberals Association. Additionally, she volunteers on the Community Grants Committee of the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an MBA with a specialization in Finance, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management (Distinction) from Conestoga College of Advanced Learning and Technology. Cindy has completed extensive training in project management, telecommunications, education, strategic leadership, technology, business, innovative learning, STEM, Lean Six Sigma, and IT service management.
Most recently, she earned a certificate in Strategic Thinking for CXOs from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. Her professional certifications include Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Project Management Professional(PMP), ITILv5, Scrum, and Montessori Early Years Education, NAMC. She is a member of Women Executives Network(WXN), PMI and Forbes Black. She is also a beneficiary of the Onyx Scholars Initiative Program.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy is deeply committed to STEAM education, women leadership and community development. She actively mentors through platforms such as the Women's Technology Empowerment Centre (WTEC) and the Community Impact Group (CIG).
Her passion lies in driving innovation in IT, transforming education, and nurturing the next generation of global leaders.
