Fatima Cisneros

I'm a sophomore at Illinois State University majoring in Bilingual Elementary education with a minor in Spanish. I've know I wanted to be a teacher ever since I could remember, the teachers I had shaped me into the future teacher I want to be. I attended a dual language elementary school, MacArthur International Spanish Academy, where both Spanish and English were taught. I want to be like those teachers that changed from math in English to Science in Spanish making school fun and enjoyable for me. My dream continues as I’m a part of the class of 2013 Golden Apple scholar, they provide me the support I need to become an excellent teacher.
