City Epicure simple elegance is an internationally infused cooking concept born from the Harlem based kitchen of chef S. Ifeh Barnes. Taking what we experienced living in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East certainly widened our taste buds to extreme; challenging us to combine different spices and herbs to create a distinct flavor we now call City Epicure aromas.

Seeking out farmer markets and working with the fair trade community to buy and prepare fresh produce brought into New York City weekly is like shopping in local African and European markets.

Bread puddings, corn bread, chutneys, ginger and sorrel juices are some of the products City Epicure produces. All of the ingredients are natural and fresh. Quality products enhance all the senses, delights and wakes up the flavors in our food; ultimately we believe these treats are, for those palates that deserve more.
