Hello, and thank you for visiting our about me page. Our organization is made up of highly motivated people who are concerned with our city's needs.

We are the LVCWUC Committee - who, as an extension of our organization... love putting together these types of events. We are working hard together with others who have the same heart to meet the needs of our communities in our city. This will be our third event and this one will be focused towards reaching the needs of our children. Our tagline: "if we lose the children, we lose the city."

Our purpose is to meet the needs of our community by connecting them with the much needed resources. We are working together with many, such as: our government leaders under the Mayor's Faith Initiative, our local law enforcement agencies, school officials, local businesses, and much much more.

Many people are experiencing great lack, and as our organization sees it, the resources were just around the corner, through everyone else who were already involved in doing these types of outreaches. All we did was rolled up our sleeves in the summer of 2014, and dug in with both hands and feet.

In our last event we focused on our community needs as a whole, and it was a success, with more than 300 people in attendance along with tons of resources and programs being offered.

We are delighted to have the right connections to make our goal of connecting people with resources happen.

So, sit back, and enjoy the ride... and we hope to catch you at this event, happening on the 24th of this month - January, starting at 9:30am. Again, at this event, the focus will be on our children. There will be a continental breakfast served and we look forward to seeing you there.
