Was born in California, Raised in the Houston, Texas area for 30 years and currently have lived in the mountains of Tennessee for 5 years. Former boy scout, Texas Peace Officer, Licned. under Private Inves. & Security. Have been in the Energy / Oil related business for over 30 years. Started out as Pipe fitter worked my way up to supervision and turned to HSE ( health, Safety & environmental ) some 13 years ago. As of date completed over 188 job assignments across the US and overseas 7 times. Lions Club member, Mason ( no not a brick mason) NRA, Paddy member ( scuba diving) Currently on assignment in Haiti under the world Bank / LGL/ Ceres Environmental. Have been on assignments for DOD, DOE x2, US Army, USACE & US State Dept all as civilian Served in Iraq 2004-2005 under DOD/US Army as Civilian HSE Inspector, Iraq 2006-2007 under USACE as Civilian HSE Inspector Was registered and recognized as the first Civilian Combat Veteran in 2007 by the US Government Served in Haiti 2008-2009 under US State Dept as HSE Inspector. Was involved in search & rescue for both Haiti school collapses in Nov 2008 In 2009 was denied being issued Iraqi Freedom Veteran License tags. At first they said I was not a Veteran, they were proven wrong by registry from US Government. Then they said I was not a military Veteran. In 2010 had my first sponsored law written and passed. Honoring Civilian Veterans (not military) for their services to their country. In 2010 I became the first Civilian (Combat) Veteran to be issued Iraqi Freedom Veteran License Tags in Tn and the entire US. This small victory to all Civilian (combat) Vet who have served our country from the Boston Tea Party 1773 until now. Enjoy car shows, photography. Some of my photos have made it to the State Dept. Averaging some 10,000 photos a year. In 2010 competed, drove to 39 car shows, 1 cruise in, 1 poker run, 1 parade and 1 car show banquet. All in honor of my mother who passed Feb. 2010 from Lung Cancer. Also received a letter from Ethan Wayne (John Wayne's son) on the passing of my mother and for my services to my country. Was driving my Thunder Storm SS Custom Concept truck on a daily basis until recently getting my dream car ( 1985 Lambo 5000S ) At 50 years old have had a great journey, but am aiming towards politics.
