Chris is a Digital Learning and Media Specialist at the Dolbeare and Walton Elementary Schools in Wakefield, MA.

Chris holds a B.A. in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, VT and a M.A. in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston, MA. He is an active member of the Wakefield Public Schools digital learning team, and collaborates regularly with colleagues to enhance student learning using technology. In 2013, Chris co-designed and implemented WHSConnect, the student technology and innovation team at WMHS (www.whsconnect.org, @whsconnect). Chris also serves as the district's coordinator of social media, and works regularly with the Office of Superintendent, individual schools and community organizations to leverage social media and networking tools to enhance instruction and publicity. Chris serves on MassCUE's Professional Development Committee and is the Coordinator of the Student Tech Teams Special Interest Group. His writing on digital learning and literacy has been published on several websites and blogs, most notably Edutopia.org.
