Christopher is a multilingual program manager. He holds a B.A. in French from Ohio State University, U.S.A. and an M.A. in Peace Studies from International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan.

Christopher is currently serving as an International Coordinator with Peace Boat Japan's GET language program. This 40+ year old Japanese NGO is recognized by the United Nations for its humanitarian initiatives, including but not limited to promoting Atomic bomb survivors' testimonies, disaster relief initiatives, nuclear disarmament, while shining light on the challenges of small island nation states and sustainable ocean initiatives worldwide.

Between Peace Boat contracts, Christopher has helped coordinate Vail Resorts Ski & Ride School Adaptive program, directed an international exchange program in New York City, and previously, he served 18 months as the Global Trek Director at buildOn.org, coordinating 100+ Elementary School groundbreaking events with professional and student volunteer groups in 5 countries overseas.

Christopher also leads students and faculty with World Leadership School and Global Works Travel to Central & South America, East Africa, Southeast Asia & France, orchestrating leadership and service-learning curriculum and associated volunteer projects, logistical and safety support, financial reporting, inter-cultural exchanges, troubleshooting and more.

In Japan, he has contributed for over ten years of positive youth development programming with English Adventure Japan Summer & Winter camps with their leadership team and thousands of students. In addition, in the Bay Area of California, he has facilitated conflict resolution curriculum, first aid, logistics and musical performances for over 15 years at the mosaicproject.org.

Previously, Christopher served in two United States Government humanitarian institutions both in the field and at headquarters' offices, firstly AmeriCorps' National Civilian Community Corps (N-Triple-C), where he first led a full-time residential service program, then became an Events coordinator and Program administrator, followed by the U.S. Peace Corps, where he first served as a Peace Corps Volunteer to Mali, West Africa in Natural Resources Management while working in cooperation with France's Volunteers of Progress Association (AFVP) out of Nantes, and later, compiled global environmental education best practices curriculum within the Overseas Programming & Training department (OPATS).

His professional experiences have taken him throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Western Europe, along with extensive experiences in Southeast Asia, East, West, and South Africa, and the South Pacific. He is a proud holder of the United States' Presidential Lifetime of Service Achievement Award and an up-to-date Wilderness First Responder certification.
