CJ Maurer

I grew up in a large, non-traditional family in a small Connecticut town. I have step-siblings, half-siblings and more cousins than I can shake a stick at. It's great and I wouldn't have it any other way.

An athletic scholarship and interest in journalism brought me to St. Bonaventure University when I was seventeen, and I've been in Western New York ever since. I now live in Buffalo and work at a small advertising agency.

I prefer to go against the grain, especially in the pursuit of authenticity. Connecting with people and developing relationships is the most rewarding thing I do.
