Clifton Jones

Clifton C. Jones is an experienced non-profit manager, consultant and motivational speaker. He is highly skilled in non-profit management, facility operations, leadership and finance. As Director of Operations for New Covenant Church and Campus of Philadelphia, his responsibility is to manage and conduct multiple phases of church / non-profit administration, including strategic planning, marketing, grant positioning, personnel training, workshops, presentations; oversight of facilities management; partnering with government officials and agencies on economic faith based initiatives, negotiation of real estate leasing contracts; implementation of operational and technical improvements based on needs assessment and risk management criteria; both financial and ecclesiastical; capital budgeting, loan review, IRS compliance, staff and leadership training, as needed.

Mr. Clifton Jones is a motivated and personable 23 year business professional experienced in personal/corporate financial management, non-profit operations and church administration. He began his professional career as a Community Organizer in the East and West Bronx boroughs of New York City working with a host of community residents, agencies and local government. Since that time he has worked in a professional capacity as a Quantitative Analyst, Financial Specialist, Corporate Trust Officer and has previously held Investment Series 6, 63, and PA Life and Health Licenses. Clifton has conducted hundreds of inspiring presentations and inter-active workshops for a host of non-profits, churches, corporations, academic institutions, and community groups.

Mr. Jones spent his early years growing up in many of the five boroughs of New York City. Clifton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Drexel University and a Master of Science degree in Non-Profit Management at Eastern University of Pennsylvania. Completed coursework in non-profit compliance with Chitwood and Chitwood of Tennessee, Real Estate coursework at Temple University, and is a modest residential real estate investor.

Mr. Jones has long exhibited a strong commitment to community. Among his affiliations, he is an active board member of Mount Airy USA, CDC (MAUSA) and Mount Airy Business Improvement District (MABID). Clifton was the recipient of The Congressman Chaka Fatah, 1999 Men Making a Difference Award and continues to be a man making a difference in the nonprofit sector
