CJ Pobre

Student and Musician

Throughout my childhood, I honestly never knew what I wanted to be when I grow up. Even when I grew older, I felt like I had no purpose in life. I felt like I would just be a burden to society. However, this changed when I first picked up the guitar.

For the first time in my life, I had an ambition. I felt like I had a purpose in this world, and that I had guidance. With music, I felt like I had something to work towards to. I felt like my purpose was to become a musician. Why? So that I can share the gift of music to people.

Throughout my journey into musicianship, I realized that music is a gift to be shared. I realized that people may not be into music, or that they even fear it. I realized that I wanted to be a musician that will guide aspiring musicians to learn music. I even spearheaded the music club in my high school so that people in my high school may do so.

I am CJ Pobre, a 4th year music student who is aspiring to be a professional musician. I aim to make people in tune with their musicality. After all, what is the point of music, if not to be shared?
