Greetings!

Welcome to my LEC portfolio. This has been an amazing journey into what I think is the future of teaching and learning as we all become global citizens. Effective communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity become center when students and teachers share their learning in an open online environment.

I am excited to teach language arts and social studies to eighth grade middle school students in Cupertino School District. When I’m not lesson planning or researching how to be a better teacher, I’m training my stubborn Bengal cat to fetch, vegetable gardening, practicing Bikram yoga, or reading about interesting vegetarian recipes. At some point, I would like to actually create an amazing dinner, for my wonderfully supportive husband, made completely from our garden.
