About Me
I’m Claire, an Internet Exchange Point researcher and consultant living in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. I have a PhD is Social Policy from the University of the West Indies, at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies on the St. Augustine Campus in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
I am the Research Director of the Caribbean Network Operators Group (CaribNOG) https://www.caribnog.org/ and the cofounder of the Caribbean IXP Directory and Traffic Monitoring System https://www.caribixps.com/
I am currently one of the Co-Vice Chairs of At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) (2023 - 2025), a stakeholder group of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names And Numbers (ICANN). . I was previously the Secretary of the Latin America and the Caribbean Regional At Large Organizations (LACRALO) (2021 - 2023).
