C. T. Mitchell

Born in the UK in 1985, I am a mother, writer, student and teacher.

I have been writing for pleasure since primary school, though back then it was just simple things like song lyrics and travel writing. Now I have two short stories published by the independent publisher Café Three Zero and my debut novel is due for release at the end of 2013. My first novella will also be out soon.

True to my Sagittarius origins I love to travel and am always open to change in my life. In fact I actively encourage it. I was born and raised in Hertfordshire, England but have spent many years in both Greece and Spain – my works often reflect this, drawing on my knowledge of all three countries.

At the point of writing this, in 2012, I am currently in the middle of the enormous headache that is my English language and Literature degree after returning to the world of education as a mature student. Also hoping that this course does not put me off my goal of continuing at university to gain a Phd in Creative Writing.
