Claire Blackler

I run a small business offering wine and spirits training to the hospitality and retail industries, consultancy service to restaurants and bars and events organisation. I enjoy an active role as an ambassador for wine and the wine industry and take every opportunity possible to communicate and engage knowledgeably and enthusiastically with a wide range of audiences. I am a Certified Educator for the WSET, a member of the Association of Wine Educators and a student of the Institute of Masters of Wine (passing the theory examination in June 2014, still working on the tasting!). I judging in wine competitions, write about wine and work with clients to organise events, provide marketing support, develop wine lists and provide advice on private cellars.
