Claire Ingram

I am currently a PhD Candidate at the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan i Stockholm), looking into institutions, entrepreneurship, online communities and innovation under Dr Robin Teigland at the Centre for Strategy and Competitiveness.

More generally, I'm interested in policies, laws and political decisions that facilitate social, political and economic development. Specifically I'm interested in innovation, entrepreneurship and online communities, both in their own rights and how they relate to socio-economic development,

I have several years of experience working for English-language newspapers the Argus and the Cape Times in South Africa and have taught both Economics and Political Science to undergraduates. I've also been involved in qualitative research and the production of both academic and industry-appropriate analysis.
