Claire Yee

Hey there! I'm a customer service professional with a background in operations and administration and a lot of hands on experience serving people, mostly students, in Los Angeles. I'm passionate about supporting the operations of companies that are driven by a clear, heartfelt mission to make the world a better place and I really, really like helping people. I specialized in computing at UCLA because it's so rad when technology and social science unite, and I especially love seeing the ways in which technology can spur innovative kinds of interpersonal interaction and help form new communities. At times I feel deeply that technology has also created more isolation from physical communities than ever before, and so I strive to seek meaningful human connections in everything I do.

I'm especially passionate about creating equal access to education. I believe that where you come from and who you are (or even the current path you've followed for years) shouldn't determine the number and/or quality of learning opportunities you have access to and I hugely admire every single person who chooses to seek out and pursue those opportunities. The world is such a big place! I live for the feeling that I'm making even one person's world a little bigger, better or more connected.

I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities to enrich my own life! There are many things that make me very happy, including writing, cats, football, movies, good books, eating, traveling, cooking, exercising, textual analysis, yoga, music, baking and the outdoors.
