Claire Knoten

I am a currently a doctoral candidate in Microbiology and Immunology at East Carolina University. I work in the Everett Pesci lab focusing on quorum sensing in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I also have a masters in Forensic Science with a concentration in pathology.

I am married to the love of my life Jarod Knoten and we have a little puppy named Midget. I love traveling, interior design, running, and tennis. I have been told that I am a music, beer, and coffee snob - I just think I have good taste.

My husband and I run a photography business in North Carolina and love getting to capture the memories of our clients.
