Claire Thirlwall

I'm a Chartered Landscape Architect based near Oxford in the UK. A chance conversation in my early teens lead me to train as a landscape architect, a profession that combines my love of design, horticulture and the great outdoors.

In 1996 I founded Thirlwall Associates, a landscape architecture practice specialising in water management projects including river restoration and flood prevention.

I am a contributing writer at The Urban Times and I have hosted the round table discussions on water at The Guardian's Sustainable Business Quarterly Events.
